SUNDAY DESSERT #20: Charlotte Royale

DIFFICULTY LEVEL: Intermediate-Advanced
INSPIRATION: I feel disloyal making a traditionally British dessert for our Memorial Day weekend, but I tried to make it more patriotic by using red, white, and blue (for the American flag...not the British one). Haha! 🇺🇸 ❤ 🇺🇲 🤍 🇺🇸 💙 🇺🇸
RECEPTION/COMMENTARY: Beautiful! Wouldn't you agree? Bavarian cream encased in a wall of raspberry-filled Swiss rolls? Uh....YUM!! It's a 10/10 for sure!! This is a more intermediate recipe because rolling up the Swiss roll without cracking the sponge cake can be tricky. But if you do it while the cake is still warm, it is much easier and turns out marvelous!
WOULD I MAKE IT AGAIN? Beautiful and delicious? YES!! I also want to try making it's cousin cake, Charlotte Russe.
