SUNDAY DESSERT #25: Cheddar Apple Pie
COUNTRY OF ORIGIN: USA 🇺🇸 (actually invented in Britain though...shhh)

INSPIRATION: Nothing is more American than apple pie! Happy Independence Day!!! 🇺🇸 🇺🇲 🇺🇸
RECEPTION/COMMENTARY: Cheddar apple pie has it's roots from New England. I've always wanted to try this savory-sweet version, but wasn't sure if the outcome would even be good. So in the past I've always played it safe and made it the original way. Well not today! I made two original and two cheddar.
The apple-cheddar pairing is quite good! There's a reason it's a thing. I definitely recommend trying it next time you happen to make an apple pie. It's a 9/10. Plus, doing fun crust designs is the best part!
