SUNDAY DESSERT #5: Éclair

INSPIRATION: I'd like to dedicate this baked creation to my sweet husband, Jared, for Valentine’s. Éclairs are his favorite. Since I've never attempted these from scratch before, now seemed like a great time to try it out! 😘❤💋


RECEPTION/COMMENTARY: Yum. YUM!!! We love éclairs and this one was really, REALLY good...if I do say so myself. 10/10 for sure! The reason this recipe is somewhat advanced is because of the pâte à choux dough. The dough has to be slightly precooked to the right consistency before adding eggs. Also, the amount of eggs added and when has to be just right or the dough won't form that nice puff with a hollow center for the filling.


WOULD I MAKE IT AGAIN? Absolutely!! This might become a Valentine tradition at our house. 💝
